  • Hotel Towels

OK. I’m just going to throw this out there. I’m 100% sure I am not the only person who knows that hotel towels don’t fit around me. When I can get them around me, they barely fit and I can’t tuck them in so they stay. I’ve started bringing my own towels. I got a couple on Amazon that are microfiber and take up very little room in my suitcase or carry-on. Does anyone else use these, and, if so, how do you like them? If not, what do you use? This past weekend, I was out of town and shared a room with my friend and her husband. I forgot to bring my microfiber towel, and had to dry myself with small towels, careful not to use too many of them, and then get dressed in the humid bathroom. Yuck.

Oh man! What a great idea to bring your own towel.

TBH, I Just ask for extra towels on my way to the room and do the best I can with them. I am not that modest so whoever I’m rooming with just has to put up with maybe more than they want to see.

I ask for extra towels. Both my husband and I are bigger than a towel, we just get more.

If I drive, I do bring my own things a bit more. For home, we have bought larger towels.

I like the idea of microfiber towels! At home I usually use beach towels, but never would have packed those unless going to something specifically swim/beachy because of how much room they take up.

But even for home use, I struggle to get completely dry under assorted folds, and often end up using paper towels to actually feel dry in pits, under-boobs, and abdominal crease. I bet microfiber might really help that!
